Through our combined experiences, we have gained an understanding of how to best serve clients. Financial planning is one of the most important areas in every person’s life and not having a solid plan is a recipe for disaster. We look to understand you and focus on what is important to you, rather than any specific company’s motives/incentives. We have the resources to provide you with unbiased opinions on all aspects of your financial plans.

WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha(α) is used to judge the performance of a financial/investment plan compared to the amount of risk being taken. A negative alpha means the financial plan is taking on risk and the client is potentially not benefiting from additional return/benefit in exchange. Simply put, a positive alpha means a client is potentially receiving additional return/benefit in comparison to the amount of risk being taken. We provide a wide array of solutions in striving to achieve positive alpha for our clients. However, it all starts with giving individuals and enterprises financial clarity. The financial industry can appear to have too many choices and options to decide from. In addition, many financial products are littered with jargon and acronyms that most people do not understand. We are here to help you understand the financial information, build a prudent financial plan tailored to you, and assist you in putting your plan to action so you can take the path to financial success.

TRANSPARENCY

Many people steer clear of financial planners and advisors because they are unsure of how we are compensated. Whether it be compensation from the client directly or compensation taken from an investment portfolio, we want it to be clear to you how much you are paying and where it is coming from. We understand and agree with keeping client fees as low as possible. That being said we are also running a business and need to keep the lights on and feed our families. Most clients find our approach to fees not only reasonable, but also creative in how it considers keeping the most in their pocket. As Benjamin Franklin said, "a penny saved is a penny earned", and our goal is to help you keep as many of your pennies as possible.

PERSONALIZED ADVICE & STRATEGIES

We look to understand you first. Once we understand you and your financial position we then craft a plan and recommendations that are personalized to you. This may be from a budgeting perspective, and insurance perspective, and/or an investment perspective. Every person is different in what they need and want out of their financial plan and we make sure we tailor our service to each client. Especially when it comes to specific products and/or investments there are many ways we can customize things to make them in line with what you want/need. Whether it be a faith-based concern, and employer mandated restriction, or just a personal preference we are confident we can find a solution that fits what you are looking for.

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING

Lots of financial advisors and their firms claim to be comprehensive in that they will help with your insurance, your investments, and your general planning. However, many of these advisors end up not delivering on this promise and focusing on a particular area of financial planning. Many firms even train their advisors to guide the conversation and lead the client to a specific product. We look to focus on what you think is important first and foremost. From there, if there is another area we think you should be concerned with we will mention it to you and if you want to look into it we can. We have the resources to be fully comprehensive, but we are not going to use that to steer you away from what you came to talk to us about in the first place.
